Gateway High School is located in Kissimmee, Florida. It is home to Osceola County's International Baccalaureate Program and is also the site for one of the largest Performing Arts Centers in the county, which houses the prestigious Thespian Society, known for its various productions and awards won at the Florida Thespian Competition. The mission of Gateway High School is to enhance the students' academic, artistic, social, and technological skills to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and increasingly diverse society.

Gateway High School hosts numerous extracurricular activities. In the 2007-2008 school year, the school is most known for an active International Club, BETA Club, Quiz Bowl Team, Fellowship for Christian Athletes, FCCLA, Business Professionals of America, Panther Knights, Dance Department, Drama Club, Debate Club, Kids Aid Society, DECA, Key Club, Spanish National Honor Society, German National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, Senior Class, Junior Class, Gateway Bowling Club (Bowling Team), National Honor Society, and Student Government. There are also committees in which students, parents, and teachers may voice their opinions such as SAC and STAC.
07/08 History: The Drama Department has finished its 07/08 season! The club began its production season with Charlotte's Web (November 29–30 and December 1) and continued its line up with The Nerd (February 29) and Big River, (April 24–26). At District IE Competition, Gateway High School garnered 3 Best in Show Awards, as well as over 20 total "Superior" ratings. The club also attended the District One-Act competition where it received a "Superior" and "Best Ensemble" award. This was the first time the club attended one-act festival in several years. At State Festival in April the club received 4 "Superior" ratings. Director: Mr. Donald Rupe:
A program that teaches unity, justice, and how to be a model citizen and how all cadets in this program can give back to the community and to show their love for their Country. All cadets will learn military values and discipline and all have no obligation to join the military.
Gateway was nominated for Cool School of the Week from My Fox Orlando in November 2007.
